I am a visual artist, crafter, dancer and an educator. Located in Richmond, Virginia, one may find me teaching in a classroom, vending my handmade jewelry or performing dance at a festival.
I graduated with a BFA in Art Education and Minor in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. Upon graduating, I was hired to teach at Highland Springs High School. In 2015, I transitioned to New Kent High School, At this post, I designed and implemented the AP Art Curriculum. To view my class resource site,
In 2013, I launched my business, Ethereal Ideal, a handmade accessory line. This has brought me much joy, exploring my otherworldly aesthetic. I have created pieces in collaboration with other artists, photographers and models. My jewelry has been shipped over the world, worn in weddings, costumes and feature in magazines.
In 2015, I made a leap to try new things, such as bellydance (Raqs Sharqi). I started taking classes at Electric Nomad. Currently, I am continuing my studies at Imaginarium Dance Studio as I develop my unique style of celtic/ bellydance fusion. To view this portfolio, visit ginniefaedance.weebly.com.
My mixed-media paintings play into the same themes captured by my jewelry and dance. I seek to describe the Ethereal. I appreciate the use of narrative symbolism in fantasy, literature and art. My creative process begins with aesthetic experiences. These experiences ignite the joy and love of art and inspire visual design. To view current works, visit
